Penny J. Abrams has been trying unsuccessfully to get newspaper articles about her grandfather's death in West Union in September, 1951 (possibly Sept. 1, 1951.). Her understanding is that he was stranded on the railroad tracks in his car and couldn't get out in time before the train hit him. He died instantly at the age of 61.
