Chief Jerry Turner has filed Candidacy for Sheriff of Doddridge County

On March 24th, 2008, Chief Jerry Turner officially filed candidacy for Sheriff of Doddridge County.  As an Independent candidate, a certain number of registered voter petition signatures were required before he could officially announce candidacy.  Chief Turner has collected over three times the amount of signatures needed for his placement on the general election ballot on November 4th!!

Encouragement and positive response from the community was incredible.

Your support is greatly appreciated and your concerns will not be ignored.  Chief Turner strongly encourages everyone of voting age to take the time to register and vote for the candidate of his/her choice.
