| Doddridge County Pet Food Pantry Issues Challenge to CEO's
Roxanne Fritz writes that the Doddridge County Pet Food Pantry issued a challenge in May 2009 to all the Doddridge County CEO clubs to do a pet food drive. Some of the clubs have opted to make a monetary donation instead of actual pet food, since the pet food pantry is tax exempt and may be able to get a better price on the pet food.
The CEO club that donates the most will get a certificate and an article in the paper proclaiming their greatness and the gratitude of the community - great scrapbook additions.
All the clubs will receive eternal gratitude for any and all donations big or small, made to help the Doddridge County Pet Food Pantry.
Roxanne has been guest speaking at some of the club meetings, so any club may contact Roxanne at 304-873-3500 and she will be glad to come and speak at their meeting.
It costs an average of $350- $400 a month to keep the pet food pantry running. A recent survey on the pet food help was returned with many letters expressing thanks for the pet food pantry and the help provided when it was most needed.
