"Cinderella's Closet"
Dear Friends and Customers,
My dear friend Sherry Bachman along with her mother, Eleanor Lemasters, have found a need they are ready to tackle!
They have begun a project called "Cinderella's Closet", through the New Martinsville United Methodist Church
and are collecting prom gowns to be distributed to young ladies in our area who may not be able to attend their prom this year due to financial hardships.
So far this year they have collected 16 gowns and are wanting more to make available to girls from the high schools in Doddridge, Wetzel, Tyler, and Pleasants County, along with those attending River High School.
If you or someone you know have gowns that are in great shape and just hanging in your closet, here is a way to give back and help make the day of a future "Cinderella."
No gowns but want to help out? Yyou can also help by sponsoring the project with a monetary donation.
The plan is to have a gift bag for each girl with personal products such as make up and perfume to aid in completing their look.
Sherry will have sponsor forms and referral forms for girls you may think of that would need the assistance they can provide.
